Why is there no normal mod RO2 server ?
Sad that this game is unplayabel. There are only realism servers. No wonder why so less ppl play this game. This game has so mutch to offer. Why do the server owners ruine the game play with forcing ppl to play realsim ? And why is the gameproducer not giving the players normal servers? Without rising storm i wouldnt even touch that game

Realism is the only good mode in Rising storm and generally the best in RO2, Action is absolutely garbage.

Relism is the normal mode. There is Action mode for cod kiddies you know, go play that.

Only mod where you need skill is action.

And there is CLASSIC-mode for the "real realism"-players.

So that's why action mode has a cross hair and realism doesn't. Oh, and people take bullets like they're wear kevlar in action but die instantly in realism.

Most servers run realism because that's what players want. Back when HoS launched, there were 50/50 action/realism servers. Everyone realized action was crap and asked for more realism.

There is no room for error in realism. You get shot once, you usually die. You're not taking the time to aim, you die. Action lets people make mistakes and is ultimately easier. Realism requires more skill.

1 shot in leg or arm = dead yep totally realism

Brachial artery and femoral artery, major blood vessels located in the arms and legs respectively. Sever one of them and you lose consciousness from blood loss within minutes, and then you die. Throw in clinical shock, and yeah; one shot to the arm or leg incapacitating is pretty realistic. The standard rifle bullets of the era were all developed specifcally to have the capability to incapacitate a grown man with a single shot at ranges up to 1000 yards.

Oh and, you wouldn't be runnin' and gunnin' too much with a shattered femur/tibia/fibia (basically any of the major bones in the leg), even if you wouldn't immediately die.

don't know if that was sarcasm or not, because it rarely works on the net. but i'll tell all why getting shot in the arm or leg can kill you. if you get a certain amount of wound points anywhere, you die. would you rather fall to the ground and slowly die within the next ten minutes or so? no. TWI knew you would not like that, so they decided at a certain amout of wound points, you will die.
and besides, people really can die getting shot in the arms and most assuredly in the leg. this aint hollywood.

in realism mode if you are shot in the arm or leg you actually usually survive and can bandage up,

in real life 9 out of ten people who are shot do not die at all, however in combat, once someone is shot, they are out of the fight, so yes, it is appropriate for you to be "killed" after one shot to the arm or leg, especially a rifle shot, a rifle shot does not just drill a hole in your body like a pistol shot does, a rifle shot literally explodes a devestating temporary cavity in the wound causing horrific tissue damage and blood loss. as well as nervous system shock.

this is a video game, so everyone is shown as dying, because, whether they are alive or not, they are dead for the purposes of the game.

as for realism, it IS the normal mode, did you ever even play redorchestra 1? it's even more hardcorein most ways.

arcade mode was a way to try and attract the COD kiddies who have no patience or skill for a real military shooter.

Another dodge. First you say, "Oh realism doesn't require skill." Then I explained to you why it does and action doesn't. Then you changed the subject again saying realism isn't realistic and then sherman explained to you why it was. Now you've changed it AGAIN and you've resorted to petty ad hominem.

I'd say this is bait, but you're to stupid even by troll standards. Go home, kid.

The 1st game I played was realism and I never bothered to even try any other mode. It's just too good(though the game could crash less, especially during campaigns :( ).
