Alot of hackers in this game?

I just came from a game where there is one dude who manage to get best team score, kill score and what not.
He was able to run in and just lay waste to everyone and standing right out in the open and not one bullet hits him.
I get popped as soon as i show my pinky toe out in the open.
I dont believe people got luck in games anymore because most likley they are cheating.

After the game I took a look on his profile and he got 1 Vac bann, once a cheater always a cheater.

I read about this game not being COD or like BF but still I see the same playstyle, people running in and able to kill 3-5 people before they even die, if they die.

I like this kind of game in general but since games nowdays are being flooded with hackers and little is done about it, I feel like it would be a waste of money to buy these kind of games.

I have played this game since release and have yet to encounter a single hacker.

As to the playstyle, you can play this game two ways. As an assault it can be very effective to run in quasi-COD style in close quarters combat. You can be equally effective doing a careful slow-and-steady approach.

The most important thing is to stay aware of your surroundings in the maps. A person can easily get 6-8 kills per life if they find a good choke-point and cover it (with any weapon).

Same here, I have played RO since the first one, never met a cheater
Aeellis' right, if you know well the maps, you can easily wipe an entire squad in choke points

I have never met a hacker until this Free Game Day. TWICE, there were players that were lvl ~15 and had 90+ kills with an SMG. They run around shooting from the hip and nailing people 100m away. Both votekicked, hopefully banned by admins.

The running and gunning is common tactic of newbs. I love it when enemy does that, just mow them down.

I have never met a hacker in this game, and I have been playing for a few years now.

Even with inflow of cannon fodder, still now hackers.

Hackers are rare in this game, but with RO2 being free for a day I'd expect atleast a few scumbags having a few alt accounts with RO2 now and hacking with no worries... And of course free weekends always have a risk for this kind of behaviour.

When this game first came out, I did experience a couple of obvious aimbots, but after Punkbuster, I've never seen anything like that. Some players have something like a 1000 hours and are damn good. Me, I've got a life ;)

Hackers are very rare, but yesterday I played with at least 2. Free game giveaway is the reason. Given some time it will stop.

I love rushing with my team (gotta love those screams)
I always stay out of sight that's what gives these people luck
They keep moving unpredictably in areas where the enemy isn't already focussing on the corners of ny form of cover

There are subtle cheaters, like highlighting enemy team red for exampel.
Doesnt necessary mean aimbot or something obvious.

OP, this game has a very low amount of hackers and cheats because for the most part the community doesn't tolerate it. Hackers are mostly found out very quicky by veteran players and either kicked or banned by admins, those ones that do so subtly get bored very quick and don't stay around too long.
