I don't understand the difference in versions...
Let me apologize beforehand, I've looked for an answer to this but cannot seem to find it.

Why does Red Orchestra 2 cost 9.99 when Rising Storm costs $4.99 and includes Red Orchestra 2?

Am I missing something?

Does Rising Storm only contain some of RO2's content?

The price difference is because Rising Storm is currently on sale, RO2 is not. Normally RS would be the more expensive one.

Rising Storm includes all RO2 multi-player content, it's just missing the RO2 single-player. Most people only want the multi-player, so Rising Storm is all most people need to buy.

Oh, that sucks actually. Can you buy the single player seperate later or do you have to rebuy RO2 to get the single player?

To do that, you'd actually need to buy RO2 by itself first, then get Rising Storm, there's an issue where you can't buy the older RO2 once you get Rising Storm.

The single-player is mainly just the multi-player maps with bots and some cut-scene stuff. And the bots are dumb as bricks. There's certainly some people that like it, but most don't think it's worth bothering with, the multi-player is really what it's designed for.

Ok, that actually makes sense. Thanks very much!
