I wasn't expecting to get ROrchestra2 for free but I checked and there it is in my library.
Now I own ROrchestra2, RisingStorm/ROchestra2/24 hour trial, Darkest Hour Europe 44-45, and ROSfront 41-45. So I guess I can expect that "Rising Storm" will be a combination of all the others? And the only good thing I'll hear about it is by what is available to read on the store page!
Said the Troll (I'm not talking about your quote there Scratch)
I'm a huge WW2 Buff I love RS sure it has it's differences from RO2 as it's set in a different campaign of the war so it's not fighting through industrial complexes and what not it's island jungle foliage other than that it's great. The fact that we get to play the niche areas of WW2 instead of the usual suspects of D-Day, OP market garden, etc... it's a great addition.
This has not happened.
If it was my my recommendation is/was deleting your documents/my games/red orchestra 2 folder
I have also slow loading times when changing maps, and a slow start up.
About the problems with the new players (besides the team killing thing), most of them are very impatient: I usually don't play as SL, but since they are so many new players, I play as SL, cause that's better than be under command of someone that does not even know the maps... but they don't take cover, they run in the open... as an SL you tell them to take cover, to wait in the cap till something changes in your area (more team mates arriving, smoke, or friendly tanks), making safer to move, but they have no patience an run or expose themselves to enemy fire (and the entire squad), because they can not wait a few minutes.
Other thing: at first it was funny, but new players please stop running over your team mates when you are driving a vehicle.
