[ANSWERED] Do I need to install to keep or just add it to my library?
I don't have enough memory on what I have now. I haven't finished building my gaming PC

so, topic?

EDIT: Thanks, Yoshiro!

Yes, apparently you have to install what you want to keep. For example, if you're not planning on playing the betas, you can choose to not install them. Please refer to this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/35450/discussions/0/540739860875040289/

No, that's dumb. They are already registered to your account, it's yours to keep now. All of it.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to DOWNLOAD and INSTALL them...they're added to your library, and not like a FREE (temporary) game...check your account history...you'll see you got the game there (free games does not appear on that section)

Well, the news post specifically mentions that you have to install it. http://steamcommunity.com/games/RO2/announcements/detail/1353639133892980334 And it was also like that during the L4D2 giveaway.

We recommend installing it because we've heard reports from people who participated in the portal/l4d free days that non installs may be been revoked. WE DO NOT KNOW. Which is why we recommend an install.

Do we install the single player, multiplayer, and the betas to make sure we keep everything? Or is it just certain things you want to keep that you install.

I am just going to download and install the singleplayer and the multiplayer. I don't need the beta's. It takes only more space on your drive.

Same question ! I just want to keep Red Orchestra 2 single player part, so I have to install it to keep it or no ?

Yes, you need to install only that one then. Seems like you don't have to install anything else - multiplayer, beta or whatever.

We believe installing anything should be fine. But we recommend the RS/RO 2 GOTY Multiplayer application (as that is the one you will be playing most likely!)

Is the singleplayer also worth playing? Is it just multiplayer but with bots? Or A full campaign experience?

Thank you very much for all the heads-up and help, Yoshiro!

It like training with bots on the same levels that multiplayer takes place.

Believe me, just install the MP part. The SP part is abysmal. (As in you play against really dumb bots on the MP maps and I really wouldn't call the story a story at all)

@Nyan : Thank you for your answer. What really are RO2 beta & Rising Storm beta ?
