grid doesn't make sense
Something really needs to be done about this. There is nothing more aggravating than having a perfect artillery spot, calling it in, and after just 1 salvo the position gets overrun and you get the message 'grid doesn't make sense' and no more arty till cooldown expires. This is the time when your arty call makes the difference if you are getting overrun, it should not just stop the way it does.

The game map itself is ridiculous. There is no set measurement for the boxes in the map grid. From what I've been told ingame, the measurements are 50m and 75m. It depends on the map. So, you just have to guess pretty much.

Well I've seen and used dozens of maps in my lifetime and I've yet to come across one that doesn't have a map grid standard measurement somewhere on it.

That's straight up unfinished lazy programming. Why put down a grid and not a scale for it? You've just nulled the main reason to put a grid on a map....There's no reason why they couldn't add a scale for each map. Or just make the grids a standard size for all.

then at least refund the arty you just waited, it's completly unrealistic. "yeah, we decided to stop the artlillety cap'n, sorry but the gunners just play catch with the ammo, just wait for another 10 minutes till new shells will arrive, over."

and yeah, like they actually bother to even read about their countless bugs, game exists for 3 years and the game is still ridden with bugs

It's to prevent firing arty into their spawn right before they catch a point I think. Also I believe the map grid lacking measurements is probably just accidentally overlooked by the devs. It hasn't really bothered me because I use my eye holes for seeing soldiers and just use the grid on occasion to notify my team of tanks.
