I haven't encountered a decent shooter set in vietnam since BFV 10 years ago.
Other than that, I think some battles set in the african campaign would be wonderful.
Maybe... everytime they try to fix a bug, they break something else. Who knows, perhaps they need to make an entirely new game instead of trying to fix this. Some people have also said that the engine is one of the causes of the slow development of new vehicles. Maybe work the whole thing from start, with a new engine...
Regarding to graphics... this game was outdated already when it was released, back in september 2011. Other fps were back then released in dx11, with bigger maps and better performance, and really good looking enviroments.
West Front is indeed overdone, but for me at least is boring to be always an american killing by himself hundreds of evil nazis. One of the interesting things of Red Orchestra franchise is that you can be a german character, not a nazi stereotype. A West Front based fps, with Red Orchestra mechanics, in wich you can be a german, is something I'd like to play
They could check this very forum first. Seriously, threadstarter, you thought you were the first to suggest this????
But there's a game in development called Festung Europa which is pretty much what you described.
-edited because I'm not unreasonable. Their last main page update was in December, and was all about their progress efforts to get Indie DB game of the year.
This may be incredible, but I think you'll end up waiting a very long time for it to come out.
