will TWI ever fixed the damn bugs?
the the amount of gameplay hampering bugs is staggering, 3 years have the game is realsed i don't see any fixes at all...

suddenly getting up when proning,
suddenl proning when getting up
if a grenade is being help while getting up from prone it will be thrown automatically
not being able to melee or switch weapons while cycling the bolt
not being able to cancel bandaging
very poor ability to pick up objects, need to look at them for a few seconds untill the option to pick them will be avilable.
mortar explosions doing no damage if the enemy slightly behind an object - even if it barely covers him
character automatically trying to get up while reloading the knee mortar
mortars exploding when hitting mere leaves.

and so much more.

so twi is working on RO3 that this game is not being repaired and updated anymore? what's going on?

Don't forget all the tank glitches. Can't go from mg to turret position without being popped up out of tank hatch. AP/HE switching problems etc.

tbh, most of the same old bugs are still there so whatever they are fixing is not what's been around for a looooooong time, rising storm that is, dont know if they also exist on RO2.

Thats one of them

You don't even play this game since 3 years so w/e

+ name me one company that still updates their 3 year old shooter game with patches and content

valve? blizzard? and either way it doesn't matter because most shooters dont have this kind of game hampering bugs so it's much less of an issue that they don't get updated.

and apart from one or two very major patches most fixes are very minor and usually graphical.

still doesn't answer my question, when will these bugs be fixed and if TWI is aware of them

Kraft Feb 22 @ 3:52pm
post in the bug forum. + cs etc are only updated because they make the money out of gadget stuff/skins/hats not the actual game price (compared to RO2/RS) so it works more like a mmo business model.

Lol why Kraft should answer on this question.
Btw you may like it or not but TWI is not such a big caliber studio remember they were modmakers;3 sorta of amateurs(adressed not the OP)
P.S some things which you posted are invalid.

What?
Tig Ol Bitties Feb 22 @ 4:16pm
Kraft lists that as a defense of Tripwire? LMAO.

A defense?
I just corrected that TWI hasn't fixed anything in 3 years.

You know.. there is a zone between hater and fanboy...

Imo? TWI isn't going to pay salary to fix bugs in a game that was a colossal flop to begin with. Whatever has been done up to this date is probably the end of the 'fixes'.

We're still waiting on vehicles which TWI posted were coming soon. That was like 2 months ago, so soon to them may be several more months.

I really don't get any sense of urgency from TWI to do much for this game at this point.

They'll release the vehicles eventually and all the people who begged for them will probably have moved on, lol.

yeah, well look at TWI's development history; a bunch of games that some people care about and most do not due to lack of polish. killing floor or red orchestra, the games have potential and good qualities about them but they never live up to their maximum quality potential. don't know if it's lack of skill or what. red orchestra/rising storm's shooting mechanics are very fun--great enough to make one forget about how ♥♥♥♥ty everything else is--but everything else just lacks. pretty sad, if they put more effort into it i believe they could really popularize this type of fps

Kinda funny. I have not encountered a single bug that you listed. I can only agree that picking up objects is sometimes harder as it should be.

And that was the reason for so much frustration with the playerbase and even TWI. Some players with low end computers ran this game just fine and some people with high end gaming rigs couldn't get the game to run well at all.

Back when RO2 dropped that scenario was rampant and that killed any hopes of this game having a large playerbase.

Because they are a modmakers obviously. As for promissed venichles in Soviet Russia we got a proverb which says that you must wait promised three years(figuratively) as you can see with TWI three years passed so it should be this year ^_^

can't they like go to a more serious publisher and make sure the game does live up to it's said above? i remember valve being so exiceted over them they even promoted their games on TF2
