This game is dying out

Anyone else agree? It seems now every match I go into I get 20+ AI teammates and 4-5 human teammates, same for the enemy. And the AI isnt too great, so in reality it turns into the humans farming the crap out of the many many AI waves.

Nearly 1500 people in game right now and it isn't 6pm here in the UK yet.

She's steady.

I think what might be a 'problem' is the best servers are always full. Then we have some very decent servers that will empty if the 'wrong' map gets voted for. Still, there should be plenty showing in your browser.

When I go online to find servers, I see an endless wave of emptys until I find one with people. And 1500 is not a lot of people at all, when you divide that amongst the various game types, theres really not that many people on at all, DayZ had about 15000 people last time I checked. That is a thriving game, Red Orchestra is sadly not.

It was always in such condition well maybe except freegiveaway and freeweekend time. Btw being atleast alive for three years its not so bad for a multiplayer game, isnt it?

Yeah, but at least RO2 is not being abandoned by it's own dev in the middle of development.

It kinda feels abandoned, they still haven't fixed the bug for the FOV slider or the bug that causes people to get speedhack messages and get kicked. These have been issues for quite some time. DayZ is getting a new update that adds new content every month or faster, I'm not sure how that's abandonment,

Also Team Fortess 2 gets like 80000 players a day, Red Orchestra 2 is an awesome ass game, it makes me sad that they get maybe 2000 people total every day.

The game is not dying because it's the best one for players that want this kind of gameplay.
Yes, we're not many, but we're very dedicated.

Sort server list by population and you'll find always 3-4 full server.
If you want join a full server keep try to join it till you enter. I don't wait more that 1m when i try that.

Probably if every 2-3 months Tripwire give a free weekend with sale for this game the population will not fall and this could help keep the game played.

p.s. you need to use your server filters to not show empty servers. i just looked and saw more than enough players and that's in the middle of my day. i'll check again tonight. p.m. p.s.t. is the lowest player count.

before xmas it was averaging 1000 online during UK afternoons, now since all the sales it's about 1500, so if anything, it's improved.
