most likely not, the graphics card is extremely weak

I agree. I can play DayZ fine though?

RO2/RS is more CPU dependent, and unfortunately your cpu has a benchmark of 662 which is by far the weakest cpu i've seen. No disrespect

you would need a quad core to play .

not quite.
i played just fine with a phenom2 X2 before i upgraded to a quad. updating made no difference at all, i might add. only upgrading my video card from a 5750 to a 560ti made any real difference.

So is there a way to upgrade my CPU on this or is it integrated?
T|O|D*BEANS* Jun 18 @ 7:57pm
@R5CYA It seems that we are on opposite sides. I had the Q6600 and boy it was awful @ RO2/RS which is a stronger cpu than phenom x2 and i would get around 20-30 fps. I upgraded my 550ti to an R7 260x and made no difference..still around 20-30fps. When i upgraded my cpu to an i5 whew i maxed the game out at 62fps stable.

I believe we all get different results. Perhaps you can play with that cpu but maybe at lowest settings.

that i can agree with. ever since the first day the game came out, i've been amazed at what it works well on and what it doesn't. it's never made any sense at all. this game is really hard to recommend a computer for. i built mine as a budget computer right before it came out and have been very lucky with regards as to how well the game plays on it.

O.P. no. i don't think you can upgrade anything but the ram and hard drive. it's the reason i use a desktop for gaming. check with the poeple you got it from to be sure.

i just looked at your cpu. http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-V-Series-V140-Notebook-Processor.37887.0.html
if that's what you have, NO, do not buy Rs/RO2! no one has ever gotten the game to work on a single core and came back to tell about it. ever.

Then RO2 shouldn't be a problem

Wat? no way in hell is RO2 more cpu intensive than arma2/dayz....

It looks like it only has one core too, and theres just noway to upgrade a hp notebook at all. And theres no ♥♥♥♥ing way you can play dayz with over 4fps with that.

About the q6600 vs phenom x2, at that time dual cores could easily outperform a ♥♥♥♥ty 4 core, atleast if the game doesnt use 4 cores to full potential. Also intel processors only started to outperform amd with the i3/i5/i7 models.

Any cheap good PCs/Laptops you know about?
R5CYA Jun 19 @ 10:29am
build a pc. it's cheaper than buying one and you'll be able to upgrade when the time comes.
