New content suggestions
It be nice if they added more scenarios to both Red Orchestra and Rising Storm. They could add the Italians and Romanians that fought on the out skirts of Stalingrad. I think the other Axis nations don't get enough recognition despite their contributions. They could maybe even add the Finns during the Winter War, the Blue Division fighting at Leningrad, or maybe the battles that took place in the Crimea. For Rising Storm they could add the British fighting in Burma or maybe Papa New Guine.

I haven't seen any major content come out and truth be told playing the same maps are getting kinda old.

I was thinking the same thing, been no word from the developers at least that i can find about continued support or content. Rising Storm i cant find anything about support or future content especially.

wont happen any time soon, there pretty dedicated to KF2 atm
i dont know this for sure, but considering there a small team, they probably are

Yeah, it's very likely they are putting at least 90% of their resources into KF2.

Thought Rising Storm was done by a completely diffrent group other then Tripwire. In fact i know it was, however they seem to have no voice about there own project? perhaps they sold it to Tripwire after they developed it? bad for us but..... considering the vanilla mess they created (RO2) thank heavens the community has stepped in and helped fix a lot of it. RO1 at this point is still superior in much of its game play and concept.

I've seen footage of RO1 and it is much better. It's impressive what they were able to do with a game made in 2006.The maps were much bigger, they added Normandy and North Africa, more vehicles to chose from, and infantry combat felt more realistic. Compared to Ostfront, RO2 is a let down.

Darkest Hour and Mare Nostram were by mod teams, not Tripwire.

Absolutely correct and they were great, however RO1 itself was a real game changer as well. Tripwire simply caved to the COD crowd, simple as that. However the modders out there can get us out of this mess with added content, however i feel Tripwire has upset them enough that they have moved on. Time will tell for RO2 ...but its already been awhile.

They wont add content unless its made by the community then there is a slim chance they will.

Correct, which is sad and really off putting. Who has the baby than walks away from it forever? odd

Tripwire had a rly good concept of what a realistic war game looks like which you don't see to often in the midst of all these COD clones. Hopefully they'll be able to salvage the franchise.

RO2 did turn down the realism a little bit in hopes of attracting more ppl but it just backfired in my opinion.

iirc the map "Maggot Hill" was added like two months ago, so there's that for recently added content.

IMO mod is what you need.
