How do you aim with AT rifle?
Ok the title is weird but today I was playing Bridges and decided to play AT man. While waiting in my damn hideyhole for that Sovjet tank to show up I tried shoot some soviets but no matter what I could not hit them - I aimed it like rifle, just teeny tiny bit of prediction - nothing, more prediction - nothing, even more prediction - nothing. Hell one even ran straight at me, I fired and nothing.
They were at only bit over at 100 meters or so when I fired at them and I had my sights set at 100 meters so that could not be it, my ping was fine too.

So what gives? Is the AT rifle a projectile weapon or is it hitscan like any other firearm in this game? Some advice would be helpful.

Not a single weapon in this game is hitscan. They are all projectile. The problem with the AT rifles is that it doesn't use client-side hit detection like all the other weapons. It's server side instead because TWI figured it was better to use server side for a weapon that should onlly be used on tanks.

Some maps seem to have invisible walls on hills... It is almost like you should not really be able to see them, but can, and when you send a round their way you hit that invisible hill, etc...

My suggestion to you is to aim a bit high, in that situation.

All projectile? Never knew that. I´m gonna make assumption that it is something related to Unreal engine itself.

No, the weapons being projectile has nothing to do with the Unreal Engine and everything with the developers wanting to make all the weapons feel authentic. As for aiming tips, I suggest you just keep practicing with the standard bolt-action rifles.
I can use it as a bigger kar98,don't see any problem. Try aiming better or getting in a server with lower ping.
In my experience playing the AT class, AT rifles are pretty accurate, even at distances over 200 meters, and I never strugle trying to compensate because of distance in any way if my target is not moving.

In regard to enemies in movement, if they're running in my direction, I don't have to compensate nothing. If they are moving in other direction, I would say that you have to aim about 2.5 the distance you would aim with a bolt action rifle in a similar situation.
I agree with Diabolusdixit ... normally it isn´t a big problem to hit the things you aim at with a PzB

Nope, not really. It's client-side, so ping doesn't affect it. Server side is the issue when it comes to ping.
