Dodgy controls wreck this game
We can see through the floor when we go prone it's so bad.

Sometimes stance change keys are ignored.

There is no indication when a movement sequence has been completed - Start sprinting after you've reloaded your magazine but haven't yet ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it, find out you need to reload your magazine again for no reason at all.

I'm sure there are plenty more examples of really bad interface.

Sad that despite being so horribly flawed it's still best game of it's kind because there's no competition.

I can't recommend this game to others because of this situation with the controls+movement system.

Really hope the devs will eventually make the effort to create a system that works, because it does seem to be a system lacking in effort rather than coping with insurmountable problems.

No competition? It's a fps. There is tons of competition.

The controls are clunky at times but you adapt.

As for seeing through the floor when prone, yeah that does annoy me. If you change your stance it goes away. Of course if you are prone then standing up is not always an option so that does need fixing.

Your reload sequence is completed when you see a text message at the bottom of the screen telling how full the clip you've just loaded is (Full, More than Half, Half, Almost empty).

Don't you mean 'It's a game.'? Why stop the overgeneralisation at FPS?! ... lol

The one i hate most is when you click to climb and obstacle and stuck because you move forward too fast.
I HATE DA FAQ!

Most realistic shooters kinda have these issues and bad engines and stuff but ro2 in general is so deadly that 2 milliseconds decide your fate so when annoying random clunkines happens it usually makes you die.

Theres not really much competition for semi realistic games and it's propably not going to change. In away you could be grateful for tripwire atleast trying to keep these alive, even they obviously made some mistakes.

It's great that arma sells so well so someone might try to make a realistic game oneday again. I mean you can make money with realistic shooters but it's really hard to pull it off vs making an action game.

I am grateful there's a game I can pay to experience, likewise I'm sure the devs are grateful for the cash I gave them. I just hope the work is still ongoing and that it's not going to be left in this unfortunate state. I think this game would be fantastic, and loads more popular, with these kinks ironed out.

As for arma2 selling well, I'd imagine that's mainly due to DayZ, which I think is a horrible game that incorporates the worst elements of Pay to Win by allowing server admins to cheat items fo players that pay them real money.... Ugh...

The best realism shooter I've experienced was BF2:PR, but years of overplaying that along with loads of changes that made it less fun have seen me wave goodbye to that. Probably still worth checking out though, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend it on the basis that the controls are buggy.

I'm sorry but you said this game had no competition and anyone who has been gaming in the last 20 years knows the market is flooded with fps' which is what this is lmao.

You do know games have different genres? lol

You don't seem to know that within those genres are sub genres.

Try gettting someone clever to explain my comments for you ;)

Ah how sweet.

It's funny because you seem to have some trouble understanding the game. Maybe you can get someone to explain that for you. Especially the bit about reloading your gun lol.
