Where can i get a refund?
This was one my favorite war games, now tripwire ruined it by preventing VAC-banned players from playing the game, including me. I just wasted nearly 40 dollers because i bought Red Orchestra 2 before Rising Sun. This should be illegal. Where can i get a refund?

If this happends for the new Killing floor, I'm not buying another tripwire game and they are good games.

Edit: Forgot to mention i was vac banned from rust by a hacker, not RO

Delete this thread please, this just started as a simple question into butthurt kids playing the blame game that has nothing to do with the subject.

You were caught cheating and got banned... I don't see anything wrong with it. This prevents cheaters from playing the game so I don't see how this is a negative thing.

Also Steam doesnt do refunds.

Do you see the problem here? You are VAC Banned. Learn your lesson?

No no, I was not vac banned from RO. i was vac banned from Rust because i was hacked.

Tripwire doesn´t keep you (and other people with VAC bans) out of servers.
The server owners do so (which are private persons, not connected to Tripwire in any way, aside from having set up servers for people to play RO2 [and paying lots of money every year for their upkeep/traffic]).

You still can play RO2, either on Servers that don´t have this feature activated (according to several postings in the "Terminated Message"-Thread there exist multiple servers which don´t use it), or by setting up your own RO2 server (and let people play on it).
You could also try to persuade server owners who use the VAC deny-Feature, to drop its use ... but I doubt that you will have much success there ;)

So, all in all, even with your VAC ban you are able to use RO2 ... you may just have to exert a little bit more effort than before ;)

Sure you were. What else, did you lend your steam account to your friend? ;)

People who are VAC banned usually never cheat, it's just some magical conicidence that they get banned. Yup sure.

"Excluding the (source) games listed above, VAC bans will only apply to the game the cheat was detected in. For example, a VAC ban in Modern Warfare 2 (or Rust) will not affect Modern Warfare 3 (or Red Orchestra)."

And people (who have a VAC ban in another game) aren´t VAC banned from RO2 (else these people couldn´t use the game at all, I guess ;) )
The server tool only allows the server owners to extract the public visible information (about their VAC ban in a game) and then allows server owners to excelude people from playing the game on their servers (with help of this information).

Private server owners have every right to exclude from their server whoever they want ... so their use of the tool is perfectly OK

nice try, but that's not what it says.
The_Explanation Jul 3 @ 5:54pm
I've had my account for 8 years and have never even been warned let alone banned. Why? Because I'm not a cheater. You reap what you sow kid. IMO if you got caught cheating, you deserve not to be able to play. Because you people ruin games for everyone else.
