Controls Keep Resetting

So I don't play this game too often, just a few logins a month. But every so often I go back and my controls have reset. I looked through the forums and found other people who have had this issue, but everyone who answers them seems to agree that it is caused when the devs update certain aspects of the game. But as far as I'm aware this game has not updated in some time.

Any ideas as to why this keeps happening? Is it something that I am doing?

Someone said it was caused by the clocks changing for summer time.
