Game still won't produce any sound. (HELP PLEASE)
So, let me start off by saying that I've seen plenty of old threads on on here about the same issue, with lots of different suggested fixes. I'm running Win10 64-bit, and have been since January. As this seems to be a very recent issue, I'm going to assume that this is an unrelated issue.

My problem is that the RO2Game is producing absolutely no sound, outside of the into videos. I can view the process in the Volume Mixer, but it is completely dead. I've tried disabling all other potential audio outputs, as well as trying different audio outputs. All to no avail.

In other words, the problems doesn't appear to be with my playback devices, but rather that the game itself isn't actually producing any sounds.

Here's a rough list of things i've tried, in no particular order.

-disabling all but the default audio device on my system.
-Deleting the "localization" and "engine" folders in the game directory.
-Deleting the "Red Orchestra 2 folder in "My Games"
-Verifying the local cache
-Deleting all local files and doing a fresh re-install.
-Using different USB ports for my headset
-Verifying that my headset drivers are up-to-date (Logitech G930)
-Using a different headset (Viper V360)
-using the "detect audio devices" in the Steam voice options.
-My OS is up-to-date, at least as far as Windows Update is telling me
-Running the game without Steam Overlay does nothing.

Anyways, I'm pretty much at my wit's end with this issue. This game is very near and dear to me, and I've got around 330 hours logged, and I've never had this sort of problem before.

It's a damn shame, that this game is now more or less unplayable, and all for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Any help or assistance at all would be welcome.
