This kind of cheat exist?
Sometime when i play i see something that litelally made ma think about cheat.
It's not so obvious but at least for me it's beyond my comprehension of normal gameplay.

Happen that when you shot at someone that is running in a direction (not toward you) and you're completely out of his LOS (for example on side or rear) he react like a omniscent bot. The target turn exactly to you and shot you in the face with a single bullet with perfect aiming.

This is atonishing, expecially how istantly is the reaction and how easily they spot you and aim exactly in your face als if you're like 70m away and dug in somewhere.

This happen to me so many time that it's becoming an evident use of some kind of cheat.
Someone used to cheat could confirm this kind of cheat? At least i could stop wondering wtf chuck norris is playing this game.

By the way you descibe it that is exactly what bots do.They run aimlessly and even if they are not looking at you and are 70 meters away theyll one shot you with perfect aim.Its just the crappy AI system of the game.If however you saw a human player do that with a rank and all I cant explain it.

Ofc it was a player and not just one. ;D
That's exactly what i try to understand if there's around a cheat that allow you to react like a bot.
Not to mention ppl that hip fire you with mg from 80m distant... lol

This is called "aimbot" and it's a fairly common hack, readily available to anyone willing to pay 10 bucks per month for an undetected version. There are a variety of options with aimbot, including automatic control. It seems that you've encountered one. Try to get a name next time, and I'll help you find the person's Steam ID.

It has something to do with the animations being server side, so when a person turns towards you its not shown to you because of the latency, so it makes it feel like an incredible shot.

It happens quit often that you start to aim a guy running past you and he kills you because it looks like he doesnt see you but because you can't see his turning animation in real time.

The situation you're describing is when hit detection is client side. But this is not the situation the OP is describing. Aimbot is fairly common - a simple google search can show you that.

Yeah just googled and find cheats, even with video on youtube. (sigh)
Seem cheating is pretty common also on this game. I would love to see more permaban for cheating on this game.

Btw someone know if there's game where cheating is impossible ?

Dota 2, MMOs, basically any game that produces long-term sustained cash flow. Cheating isn't technically impossible, but it's practically impossible, and therefore never happens.

I don't get it it is exactly the situation the op has, it happened to me like 50 times against reliable players, because you can sprint 100m and turn 90 degrees and ads and make a kill in 0.4 seconds in ro2 without cheats.

I mean you can even hipfire from 100m with luck, but like that kinda ♥♥♥♥ happenes every game, but if like one guy is running around and doing it 50 times in arow it's certainly an aimbot in that case.

I've been accused of aimbot doing just that lol. I fluke shotted the guy 3 times in a row with a bolt action. The 3rd time was a headshot. I see him turn fast take half a second to aim and fire and happened to hit him. I always play like this with bolt actions though usually it takes a second shot. The first shot is to get their attention so they stop moving. Works well against idiots.

only real solution to this behaviour is to play on servers with active admins. you report it to them and let them do their job. if they obtain proof that the guy is in fact cheating, they get a lifetime ban on the server and everyone plays without that cheater again.

Keep in mind that by even shooting at someone from the rear or sides you're potentially giving away your position (almost definitely if you're shooting at an experienced player), and there's also little grey dots in your peripherals that show that an enemy is on one of your flanks - this won't show an enemy behind you. This feature might also be limited to higher-level players; not totally sure. Latency might also be an issue as far as animations go. A good veteran player, however, can use the first two gameplay bits I mentioned to deadly effect when advancing/ being caught off guard.

i htae those preipheral indicators. even when i notice the blip and it saves me from getting snuck up on, i feel like a cheat for having noticed it and popping the guy.

I know, I feel bad about it too sometimes. It's particularly bad when the person has an automatic weapon, too, since the other player(s) won't stand much of a chance. But I figure it's in-game; other people should know about it and use it, too. IOM might disable it, but I'll have to test.

Never seen those "blip", it's a setup option? I've hud and hints disabled.
R5CYA Aug 29 @ 8:31am
no, it's has nothing to do with your settings. i'm not even sure if the servers can shut it off.
wait, having said that, you modified the .ini fles to get rid of the HUD? that would probably get rid of them. be happy. they are just a crutch.
