"Keep Chat Tactical Please"
I love when hitler says this. it's like "Hey, instead of having an enjoyable time talking with people online, shut up and play my way."

Honestly DerServerFuher, who the ♥♥♥♥ cares what people are talking about as long as it's not abusive? Do you have to sit there and stroke your ego by trying to control what people say?

Because the online community can't have a conversation for long until it turns into a fight, or one constant mic spam of b.s. noone cares about. People that came to play the game don't want a bunch of blah-blah-blah drowning out warnings and directions by TL's and SL's and other teammates.

I don't need to hear about your car breaking down, or your boss sucks, or whatever when I'm trying to play an immersive(hopefully) WW2 combat game.

If you want to chat about things not relevant to the game, go to an online chat room quite honestly.

Mindless chatter is annoying and part of the reason that I have all voice chat turned down in settings.

Nothing is worse than a bunch of high school graduates confidently debating WW2 history because they have just finished watching a documentary on The History Channel, however.

*CRINGE*

You're confusing mic chat with text chat. I'm referring to text chat, not mic chat.

You're also saying that Admins apparently cannot tell when to say "Knock it off." If Admins actually do their jobs, the conversations can be kept civil. It's not really that hard.

Either one. Keep it relevant. Use something else for your sewing circle of girlfriends.

He did do his job apparently. That's why you're here complaining and swearing about it.

The admins are there enjoying the game, same as you and me. They shouldn't have to waste all their gaming time policing people.

No, he didn't. There's two extremes, the one you don't want and the one I don't want. You don't want chaotic spamming of school children, I don't want complete robotic gameplay where everything is taken so seriously to the point saying anything other than "left side" even in TEXT is a kickable offense. You can have the moderate standpoint where both of us are happy. When you start to kill the fun in a game it stops being a game.

Also, what's wrong with swearing? Don't tell me you play a game the involves killing people in grotesque ways but you can't handle a word.

I agree. I don't think it should be too strict.

With that said however, I've put 1300+ hours on the server you are talking about. They generally don't say anything unless it starts to get out of hand and several players are standing around typing in chat or if it starts to derail the game.

Generally most admins don't, you're right. However it's this time a night a certain "DerServerFuher" (when you name yourself that what do you expect?) who just clamps down on ANYTHING. Everyone was having a good game and managed to still talk until he joined, in which suddenly saying ANYTHING other than "tactical" was kickable.

Like I said, if stuff gets out of hand yeah say something, do something. But there's no need to compeltely clamp down on everything. The server itself isn't bad, 90% of the admins aren't bad, but each admin has their own style of admining and it becomes problematic when you think "Oh, the admin against swearing is on." "No wait, the Admin against talking is on." etc.

how cute. another one of those threads where someone complains about getting kicked out of a server for being disruptive and thinks they'll find allies here.
we don't play to chat. we play to win. you aren't gonna be doing that while typing.

p.s. you aren't really gonna try and get us to believe you got booted just for "saying anything other than "left side" even in TEXT is a kickable offense." you wanna exaggerate to make your point? nah. i don't buy it at all, now.

How cute. Another one of those responses that act like they know what happened.

I didn't even say I was kicked, and I wasn't. I've learned already to just leave when this admin is on. I wasn't being disruptive and neither was anyone else, that's the beef I have with it.

Just try it. Go to the server while that admin is on. Start talking about anything, even if it's on topic with what's being talked about. Don't spam, just watch. You'll get kicked for "not being tactical".
R5CYA Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:16pm
how cute. you copy peoples opening lines.
Walter White Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:16pm
You're just trolling now.

and just how would you expect anyone to do that? you never said what server it was. you just complained that you couldn't sit around and type into chat, without getting into trouble. i applaud the admin for keeping people playing instead of typing.
Walter White Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:42pm
Well obviously you don't even know what you're talking about if you don't know what server DerServerFuher is an admin on.
R5CYA Aug 28, 2014 @ 8:44pm
LOL because i don't know what server that guy is on, means i don't know that people that are busy typing, instead of playing are of no use to the team and are just disruptive to others? that's some interesting logic there.
do you text while you drive as well?
