Spot enemys and class choice
Hi, i have problem to spot enemys on long and mid distance. Par Example, on the map of bridges Druzhina (as attacker) it is very hard to spot a enemy. I sit there with the MG and see no enemy. I often fire on suspicion of the typical locations, Binoculars does not exist.
Are there any pro tips to deal with this situation?

Next question, the Choice class. On full servers I always just get the Rifleman-Class or the MG-Class. This really is extremely frustrating. It really works on the principle of who comes first has the choice? Great for people where the map loads a little bit longer

Some people that you see sniping in bridges can only do that cuz the use the low rez trick.Basicly if you have low rez your field of view gets bigger and the fog effect is disabled so they can see further than you. Also there is always the vets that now exactly where their shot will land even if they barely see their target.Thats why i usually avoid trying to snipe and instead try and go for the dudes that have crossed the river.Usually some attackers will try and flank D and E from far left and right and because they will be looking towards D and E and not the spawn for the germans they ll be quite easy to take out if you go all the way to the right or the left from where you spawn. Also behind the destroyed tank is a great spot to shoot at players trying to advance both to D and E but avoid trying to shoot from the tank to the bridge and the river sides directly as you ll most likely get picked off by a sniper or the enemy tank.I cant really give much advice on good tactics for the attackers on bridges as ill usually play as germans and on the rare occasion that i will play as russians ill go tank or sniper so ill leave someone else offer advice for that side.

As far as the class picking is conserned it is kind of unfair but if you are good enough to get a battle comission or what ever that thing is called you ll be able to pick whatever class you llike even if someone has already taken it.

Yes, classes are first-come, first-served. But each time you die, check the role selection screen. You will almost always be able to upgrade class at least once or twice during any given match.

Another fine idea is the Commander to control the battlefield and troops not running around all over compounding the who is who problem. As in real life with a LMG you shoot bursts at places you suspect bad guys to be, supression is a good thing as well. And one hand running is German, two hand running is Russian even at range. And if you see a muzzle flash, they are firing your direction, you can fire back.

Thank you, are there any graphics settings that help to spot the enemy? I do not own a high-End-Computer and I believe that through low graphics settings i have disadvantages. Maybe there are settings where you can see the muzzle flash or small movements of enemies better? It's mostly about the soldiers lying around or standing around somewhere. They are hard to spot.

As I said on the contrary if you have low rez you have an advantage over people with high rez.Your field of view is bigger and the fogg effect is disabled.

Try all on low, all fx disabled, character detail and lightning quality on ultra. For me those are best without trying to mess with smoke/haze. Stay still, low and zoomed in, movement and muzzleflash will reveal their positions, and when attacking dont rush.

This discussion made me wonder how sad are ppl that play on low on high end pc just to have some advantage lol.

But this is true in every competitive game. Was surprised at first when i saw Starcraft 2 players point of view and saw that they play on very low detail to don't be distracted by useless but kind special effect.

But as this is not a game where you win money it seem weird....

I've never had problems spoting enemies, even on low and medium graphics, but I've heard of people not being able to see things including enemies in a glitch on high and up graphics. But if your just having trouble spoting enemies the best advice I can give you is when they walk over the horizon their body silolette becomes visable.

And yes, noobs hog snipers, I did it when I started the game it's normal to see, using shift to zoom is helpful but when I'm shooting over 150 meters my face is glued to the screen looking as close to as possible XD

Generally i don't look for enemy, but for the light their weapon fire.
Enemy in shadows are invisible if you play with normal highest setting like me, but you can always see the rifle flash.
