What's with the recoil seriously?
Is this game realistic for people who never used a gun? Trained soldiers can't hold a PPSH for ♥♥♥♥, what is that? A .50BMG SMG? Why is the MP40 so much more useful than this ♥♥♥♥?

Because you have to control the recoil. You're playing as the soldier. This isn't a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ movie.

Exactly, as a SOLDIER, not a grandma who never used a gun ._. I know it's not a movie but even Mass Effect 1 weapons were more accurate...

Actually soviet soldiers arent very trained at all. There were specially trained soviet soldiers pretty effective but not that you would see many most soviets were just sent into the front to fight here have a gun or very minimalistic training at most. MP40 is alot easier to control in real life aswell less RPM little bit over 500 and shoots a small round. PPSH is 900-1000 RPM and designed very badly to hold especially with 71 round mags.

Yeah but at that point? Not sure about that. Plus making a game perfectly realistic makes the gameplay suffer too, cause Soviets can't do ♥♥♥♥ against Germans ( played German just before playing Soviet )

The more you play, the better you get ... or you quit. There are no other options and thats why i love this game.

I'm all about the skills and usually avoid no-brainer weapons but I guess I'll pass on this game and stick to Insurgency for immersive games :/

That explains things you are confusing MODERN soldiers controlling recoil to farm boys of WW2. And in your fantasy world every soviet is probably part of the shock troops.

I can say im pretty decent with PPSH. It takes practice to understand how the gun works. In CQC, PPSH is especially powerful compared to MP40.

Play what you enjoy. I think the atmosphere in this game is way better than any other FPS I've played though. I love Insurgency, too- but "immersion" for me is to feel how a soldier would behave in war. RO2 does that very well.

I can definitely understand that and it's what drove me to this game in the first place, but gameplay-wise it's a whole other story. I might come back to this game later but it'll definitely take time if I ever get used to the game.

Yup, no recoil x)
Well thats because he is controlling it Lol. Hitting is another thing when controlling even, as you can see from the vid most of the shots missed the target just few meters away. Did u think anyway in the war untrained soviets who probably shot worse than him while being bombarded with artilery and under stress.

You can't even see the targets on the 1st video ._. As for the 2nd one he sprayed on all bottles, making this "experience" unreliable
