Doesn't work

This game will not launch. Can't find any fixes for it but wouldn't recommend buying it.

I have launch issues with LOTS of Steam games... about 3/4 of My games I have to go to the start menue, R-click Steam & "run as administrator" or they won't launch, try this maybe it'll help.

I actually got it working by updating DirectX. Then came the issue that the stupid game only has compatibility for an xbox controller and not any other gamepad or wheel.

only if you've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up your windows installation somehow.

If this game does not work right-click it in your library, click properties, and go to the local files tab. click browse local files and ty to run it from there. it will say there is a file missing. If you don't already have it, download a zip file opener (I use 7-zip) and then go to www.dll-files.com
find the file it says you are missing and click download zip-file. NOT THE FIXER. on the bar that pops up click save as pick somewhere to save the zipped file, and save it. then click the arrow next to open, click open with and use your zip-file opener to uncompress the file. it will do this multiple times about multiple files. If you need help with this let me know.

I solved x3dAudio problem by downloading .dll file but there is NO SOUND now. Do you have any idea how can I solve this problem ?

Like "Pirate" said, I have the same problem here (many years later). The game just told me there was the X3DAudio1.6 dll file mising. I downloaded it and the game lauchs correctly BUT I have NO SOUND too! Is there a solution since then?

The sound doesnt work unless you have windows 8, 8.1 or 10. I tried it on window 7 and there was no sound. I got a windows 8 computer and it worked perfectly. Upgraded to windows 10 and it still works.

I found the solution few days ago... by installing Team Fortress 2. By launching the game for the first time, it just installed some DirectX 9 files and then, i went back to Insane 2 and the sound was restored !!! Computer mysteries :P

Edit: And I'm on Windows 10

I had same problem, running windows 10. It seems that the missing dll files are for directx 9.
