Does this game work on a WIN 8 Comp with dx11? I've tried all the suggestions (ie verify and install 2nd teir installers) and all that works from launch screen are readme files and setting. selecting Play just starts some hdd activity for about 10-20 secs and nothing loads. stays in steam library. I never see anything asking for a cd key

game files verified, but I keep getting a black screen after the logo screens, I have audio, but when I hit enter the game crashes: BMgame has stopped working. Can't find any solutions...

Hey, my game was activated long time ago, but since last update, directly the game won't run. I deleted and downloaded it again, the file cache was verified but the problem persist. Any suggestion? thanks

For those of you on windows 7 or 8 who are having issues with the game not starting from the launch page, where the play does not do anything, try this. I had the same problem and it turned out to be a missing DirectX dll file.

Go to Microsoft Downloads and download ``DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)``
After you have downloaded DirectX, click on the exe and extract all files to someplace that you can find them.
Browse to that location and run DXSETUP.exe

I am able to launch the game in 1680x1050 (Whatever the resolution is under 1080p) but I freeze when I try to launch in 1080p. I make it about 10 seconds into the game, and right when I get to the BatSign I freeze, and that stays on my screen. I deleted and installed to two seperate drives: No luck.
