no online-coop in demo version?

Hi - i just wanted to try out this game and downloaded the demo. It was funny in singleplayer and now i wanted to take a look at the coop-mode.
But i am only able to select local coop in the demo.

Is this normal? My friend and i wanted to take a look first before buying this game.

you can play local or online coop for two only in the real version. Unless you know someone else who has the game (your friend or someone else on steam) it will be hard to do coop. The coop is the same story, but with two characters.
