Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE when trying to launch
The description reads:

Disc error while reading BIGFILE.000

I've verified my game cache, reinstalled DirectX, and still get the same error.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit
Intel i7, 8GB of Ram

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Because I've seen that more than one person has encountered this issue I wanted to give my results and solution. I typically install all of my games to an external drive but, every now and then, some games just will not function properly unless they are installed to your C: drive. This turned out to be the case with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light... at least for me.

Installing the game to my local hard drive (C:) eliminated the issue that I was having with the ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE message on launch.

Thank you Skatanic.

It's an Alienware gaming laptop. I run the current Tomb Raider on max settings. I don't think my GPU is underpowered but I only just purchased this particular game... so maybe it's especially cumbersome.

I actually have an idea that I'm going to try... I noticed that I wasn't the only user on these forums who has encountered this error but also noticed that no solution was available.

I install all of my games on an external HDD and, on occasion, a game just simply will not work unless I install it to my C: drive.

I've deleted my local content and am re-installing to my C: drive to see if that takes care of the issue. If it does, I'll post a follow-up. Heck, I'll post a follow-up even if it doesn't resolve the issue.
