Dispay problem

Im not sure what could be the problem here but my screen constantly flashes with a static screen every 2 secs, so its the game/static/game/static. When I say static I mean something youd expect from a tv when its not tuned in, just black,grey and white dots. Is this a known problem n how do I fix it?? Its not something ive come across before ever in a game... very srtrange

well strangely it seems fine after a reboot. I played a quick game and on the first level was awarded 3 achieves but only 2 show, the one which didnt is complete a level with one ship. Are there known to be buggy achieves in this game?
