I understand that you are frustrated.
Normally everthing from Steam works well, and you receive updates very (very!) fast, and you don't have to do anything.
See it as free Service (your games are always up to date) and relax ;)

U see the steam make me frustrated but you not see the point.
I want to be the ONE who decide, not SOMEONE decide for me.
Now,after i installed this,i want to play it.not waitng 2 HOURS becouse someone decided for me that i have to wait for update, becouse he think he know better what is better for me,not ME!
This is not free service, this is socialism where adult people are treated like kids without their will, and steam says this is for your own good.
Now i want to steam start take people serious and let them make the choice.

You could set Steam to offline mode and disconnect the connection - no more updates

>If i have 1.0v and dont want to update to 1.2v it is my own choice, even if i cant play with player with 1.2v u understand this?

All right, you still show yourself as an angry child. Play your 1.0, I don't care, but what if I want to play 1.3 instead of 1.7? Steam must give me a way to decide, according to your idea. But I don't have 1.3, what a shame! Steam must give me a way to download exactly what I want, because that's what I want, not what Steam want, got it?!!!!!1111oneone

See? It's not that easy as you think.

Anyway, the general idea of what I write to you, kid is world is not fair and not everything turns into direction you want it to turn.

P.S. xBlack is right. Twice.

What's a "sentance"? I only know what a sentence is.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself, but you're right. I'm going to guess that he's foreign; if not then god help us all.

To the OP: Disable automatic updates on the game, you're crying like a baby about wanting to have the choice, but that feature is already built into Steam. The bigger problem here is your horrible internet connection.

P.S. This game is a buggy mess as is, it's probably even worse without it being updated.

I knew I spelt it wrong. I even put an 'e' in there and was like... naw, that's the other sentence. Can't win them all.
Hegemon Aug 17, 2013 @ 3:26pm
But you can disable the automatic updates for every game. You are in command, it is your choice.

Not exactly. That just prevents Steam from looking for updates in the background. You still have to be fully updated to play. Except that I still see no evil with that.

All nonsense! Got the same problems as "shade11" ! And to the rest of you: How should I tell steam not to update when it starts updating directly after installation??? The only choice is to abort the update.
And the result after trying to start steam: errorcode 51!
