Server Donations

Now I am not sure if this has been discussed. With modding and free use of server client files.

Has the EULA been adapted for server donations.

I know many games in this genre keep this a gray area. Never giving direct permission or actively stopping it.

I would be in the area of not allowing it. However I can see the reason why servers do so. Some to make side cash and others just to fund there servers.

I basically do not want admins spawning in loot boxes for a paying member of the server.

Or people spawning with more than there non-donator counterparts.

That has always been allowed for servers. ARK couldnt stop that in anycase However when they give gifts in return for donations that borders on selling a product within there game.

Indeed. And furthermore, a reminder that you won't need to own ARK to run a dedicated server. The server files will be posted on Tuesday free for anonymous Steam package download :)

Host your own ARK's, run your own world as you like! ;)
