Order of War: Challenge - All Servers Shut Down

it's a pitty, i loved the game , why there wasn't a possiblility to play on lan , now the files are gone , - i have a lot old games on my steam account , i'm afraid they will vanish too - i'm not sure i would buy games on steam anymore

The first game ever removed from people's library.

I even have discontinued MMOs like Star Wars Galaxies in my library and they aren't removed. What gives SquareEnix the right to take away a game just because they ended multiplayer service?

And for those wondering, you actualy can still play this game online against others via GameRanger.

So thety aslo removed Challenge from the Steam Library....as far as I remeber there were additional maps etc for AI Skirmish as well...and they just took it away... that is a load of *£^"£ Steam/Enix!

Order of War is on Sale, but Order of War: Challenge is not included, so you won't have a disadvantage and this doesn't belong to the topic at all... ;-)

Yes, Order of War Challenge is another game, 100% multiplayer excepted 5 minutes of tutorials. Order of War Challenge was removed because it was useless once servers were shut down.
Order of War on the other side, is perfectly working. It has single player campaing, multiplayer game through Steam and LAN games.

Sorry you are right the internet multiplayer is not working because it is not supported anymore by Gamespy, but you can play on internet using the LAN game over tunngle.

you should be able to run it through gameranger for online playing this is what i do for grid mp online matchs because code masters did the same and pulled the servers for PC and playstation. As my game is not on steam for grid they can not stop it from being played from now on i am going to buy my games on CD only steam has had the last of my cash now and i see it as a cash cow for valve who do not care about the end users money they have spent on a game.
