What was the recent 96mb update for?

Just wondering if everyone else got an update for this game? I didn't even know it was still being patched!

Same, was hoping it would be the 2.2.2 or 2.2.3 patch that's missing from the steam version and fixes several issues but sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.

The 2.2.3 final patch in in the beta branch for now. If you want to try it, right-click on game entry in Steam library and choose 'beta' on betas tab.

Version 2.2.3 is now enabled by default. Please note that now your profile is stored in Documents\my games\XIII Century Gold Edition (was Documents\XIII Century Rusich) to not clutter your Documents folder. If you have played the game earlier and made progress, just copy the files from old location to the new one.
