What is "Shogun 2 - modder content pack"?

If I look in the downloadable content section for my game it shows that I have "Shogun 2 - modder content pack" DLC installed.

My game version is apparently modded (although I never installed any mods myself), and in multiplayer I can't join the few other players in the list because I have different game version.

Anyone have any idea what is that DLC exaclty? What does it add to the game? Does everyone have it by default?

i'm having trouble getting on the game though. i keep getting a black screen.

i purchased the gold edition from amazon and i checked the installed DLC and i have it also. it sounds cool to be a modder but I cant currently play Shogun 2 for some reason i keep getting a black scrren. how about you?

im going to uncheck the modder thing then see if my game works.

The game works for me without a hitch. I've had it for a while and I have nearly all other DLC. If you can sort out your issue, it's an amazing game to play

im going to update my system and update adobe to 8 professional . that might help.
