Game keeps crashing
Whenever I try and do an actual battle, the game crashes right after it begins loading. I tried going into DirectX 11 and 9 but both ways it crashes. I have Rise and Fall of the Samurai but I'm playing regular. I also have the game up to date so I don't know why this is happening. Can anybody help?

Try this delete all scripts in the folder at the address shown and try again. (Warning all settings will be reset to default) I hope that helps. If not that does not work I am not sure. This fixed it for me a few months ago when having exact issue.

Same here. Personally I can barely run the battles, anything with 500 or more units, along with sea battles, crashes immidiately. My PC specs should be up to par.. At least to run it on Low everything, which I have been doing lately just to try and get it to work.

I am having the same issue. I have been playing the normal Shogun 2 in single player mode with the Hattori Clan DLC for 33 seasons and now it is freezing 80% of the time during the loading screen whenever I enter into any battle, both as attacker and defender (this does not happen if I autoresolve). Before playing with the Hattori Clan, I had played for many hours and never had any real issues. The only thing that has really changed is that I recently installed the latest driver for my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560).

@everyone Ok I aploigize been busy with bugs in my mods ok have you tried deleting the scripts in the folder thats shown in the address I gave a few posts up?
DragonSamurai360 Mar 1, 2014 @ 3:15pm
@everyone the folder shown is a hidden folder so you will have to enable view hidden files As i forgot about that when I posted that a few days ago, I aploigize once again. If you are a windows 8 user click on the view tab on the top of screen after you click on the folder icon on your taskbar. Let me look up Windows 7 and i'll post instructions on that in my next post.

I have this problem too. I deleted all the scripts and it is still crashing. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
