shogun 2 diplomacy,skill and mastery tab crash!

I tried nearly everything. reinstall the game, start it with dx9 or dx11, verify game cache,start new campaigns, lower the graphical settings, and nothing helps. I watched at the total war forums: "those who had this issue got rid of it during patches from CA and others still have it". I mean i get a black screen and only the shogun 2 cursor is visible. no other game crashes on my pc except attila( it only happens when I change graphical settings during the game and it doesnt crash the game, it crashes my nvidia driver). rly no other game i have tried so far crashes on my new setup. (i7 4770k 2gtx 980ti, 32gb ram). rly unenjoyable when it crashes every turn. it really shows how badly optimized this games are....

hold on here, friend . reason why i said it like this.

just because you have top of the line gear.

you need to be even more checking on drivers from pc brand or custom build support site = mortherboard support page.

this game is well tested with over 5 years best pc over times.

and we are not support here. that SEGA- CA - FERAL - steam ( they distributed the files )

but then that is said. yeah we try to help others

i have tried to understand it either you have splash screen effect now. or you can still enter game but crash at diplo/skill menu

that is flashplayer that do that. ( best guess from my point of view )

but do update drivers to gfx card and verify that sli is enable nvidia sli always turn that off at my sli cards... very annoyning , how hard can it be to enable that then 2 card is plugged in.

and no that dont cover it just update gfx card drivers then pc is new..
you need to check that support site over 1-2 years every month or do u have a tool for that new pc do have that today auto update tool that do it all - bios - chipset - and resr of the onboard drivers many people forget about.

and flash is also complicated, depend on windows version and intergrated flash player and multi browser .. but game use default ingame browser. so that is also a clue in this.

also possible you need to contact nvidia if the driver is buggy try use beta driver or stop using it can also be a good idea to try

well every driver is up to date, so i think there are no problems with that. its even weird it just happens with shogun and attila ( attila is just poorly optimized and everyone has performance problems with it) but i thought that shogun 2 would be playable without any problems. I tried what you said with reinstalling adone flashplayer and so on. Maybe it is windows 8.1 ....

yeah that the easy part thanks to nvida app that do it for you. but many people today forget rest of the pc

win8,1 is not the issue. compare win 8 with 7 and its not game related problem at all.

other issue like administrator problem but then its on many steam game not 1-2

you can even say run games as windows 7 in properties on the desktop icon

also check for addware as read first post say.

adwcleaner and ccleaner with junk/registration rep can also help , but they do require it-skill
but use defaut setting , dont fiddle with it if you dont know what they do.

the only thing they say in the forums is that its adobe flash player. I tried it out. installed and reinstalled adobe several times... however it worked for a bit. then it crashed again. I think im gonna let it rest in peace. what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ irony. Rome 2 sucks because its streamlined to the death, shogun2 is sooo damn good but its unplayable. what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke

sorry have not link my guide,
but i cant help you, you told us your driver is update, so thats is it.
and we are only steam player here,

only 1 other things you can do get a friend to look at it , if you made a mistake or something you did not know about, or problem is somewhere else like nvidia driver or other things you dont think about.

and i only help people with english system and can speak it over skype.
and adults only. you most own that pc or get parrent permission so you parrent dont get angry at you. but you sounds old enough.

yeah it do happend, they are humans in there at nvidia they can also make mistakes.
i hope you can see how important driver is and more virtal if it is new equipment
stay tune on support site 1 year every month 2+ year every quater
have a schedule app task check it if support site have made such tool,
new pc today have a app store so its there depend on brand
