Crash on start up on windows 10

When I try launching the game, the mod launcher comes up, and I click launch shogun 2. Steam regesters that I'm playing for a few seconds, but then nothing happens. I saw the pinned support thing in the discussions, and followed what they said to do, but it didn't work. I tried it twice. I also have tried re-installing a couple times. I'm not sure how much it helps but, I'm on windows 10 and have an AMD graphics card.
