Drift doesn't work
When I try to drift by pressing drift button while turning, the characters don't drift; they just keep steering normally. Yet the drift button works for doing tricks. I have completed the Wii version of this game before so I think Id know how to drift. Is this some kind of glitch or is there more to drifting than just pressing and holding the drift button along with the acceleration while turning?

Odd, it works for me so by proof of concept, it should work. I would suggest checking your controls again and if everything is fine all I could suggest is check the integrity of your game properties by right clicking on the game itself and it is under options.

I just checked the integrity and got an update, but that didn't fix it. I found that the drift is working normally when using keyboard controls, but when using x360ce with my N64 controller I have the drift problem.

I think I found the problem. In some games, the game is receiving input from my controller even when I am not pressing anything. When I look at the configuration for my controller in xbox360ce I can see the trigger button being activated when I'm not pressing anything. In the Sonic 4 menu, the cursor will scroll on its own, Yet it works just fine in some other games, like Sonic Adventure 2. Anyone experienced this before?
