Game not saving

Every time I launch the game, it starts from the beginning
It's as if the game never saves.
I thought it might've been because of the workshop maps i installed so i got rid of them but this didn't solve the issue.
I also tried disabling steam cloud save and doing a couple levels, but it didn't work either
Please help, because it's really annoying to restart each time

I have this same problem... I tried copying and pasting the save file from userdata as a backup, but that didn't work either.

Could someone with this problem upload and link their save file? This will help me track down the problem. The save is stored at 'Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your user id>\341500\remote\.prof'.

This problem should be fixed in the new version (1.06). Unfortunately, if you previously continued to play on the affected save, your level progression information was permanently overwritten.
