Long-Term Idea Gathering
I know that the Devolpers alrady have a huge chuk of work and want to give us many Feature´s , and i´m really thankfull for that . But one thing i like about having a non-finished game is thinking about new ideas how it could get even Better . So If you want leave a comment here with an Idea , and we could discuss about it , and maybe the Devs gets some inspiration .

One Idea which has come to my mind are : Megaprojects . Which use many of your Empire´s ressources and can only build once and after some conditions are meet , such things could be : A Disons Sphere , for Energy Collectng , not Habitating that thing would be too Op then , and it would give a system wide Agriculture and Morale Drop , and Solar Collectors wouldn´t work anymore in this system because the sphere is absorbing all sun light . Or a Giant SpaceYard , Or a Planet Core Driller , dropping the health rate of the planet by 100 percent , uses masses of energy but gives high Metal yield , depending on the Number of Ore Hexes on the whole planet .
You get the Idea . It would probaly hard to programm make visuals and to balance ...

Next Idea , improved Minings /Farms , I am not sure how good that could be but how about late game alternatives for the mining and farms , which would be larger so they would yield highere ressources but have way more running costs and need of Population so its balanced and even your mining planets need a good chunk of population if you want to support the newer mines .

Great idea for a thread! There are a lot of ideas that we want to do in future updates, DLC, or expansions and a thread to collect ideas on them will definitely help. I'll gladly chime in with a few comments on the viability of certain ideas:

Megaprojects: I love the idea of huge mega-projects that you spend a ton of money or metal on over time that radically transform a star system or provide a major strategic benefit. I'm thinking the easiest way to implement this would be to make it so you build these as special ships in the shipyard and then activate them. So for example, the Planet Core Driller could be deployed using the bombing interface on an uninhabited world and it would transform the planet, colonise it, and then deploy the core drill as a massive piece of infrastructure.

The giant shipyard could be implemented as a colossal and stupidly expensive ship (with no FTL drive so it can't leave the system) that gives bonuses to the system's shipyard capacity. A Dyson Sphere would have to be deployed from the system screen, so that would require additional development. We could make it only deployable in systems with no planets to make it rare, and give it an FTL drive so you can bring it to where it's supposed to go.

Improved Refineries/Farms: I do like adding new infrastructure, but am hesitant to add something that will make players need to go back and redesign many of their planets once they're already set up. The idea is that currently you set up a planet once and when it's finished developing you usually only need to change things if you get a new building as you can use blueprints to update all your planets at once.

With that in mind, it'd have to be something you're suggesting where you'd only want to build on a few specific planets or where only a few planets meet the criteria. For example, we could make an improved ore refinery exclusively for Barren planets that require a lot of staff so you'll need a residential city and will need to ship in a lot of food.
