Apologies for the delay in responding! The upgrade button was actually a feature I added last year, but after reading your post I went back and checked and it didn't look like it was there. It turns out that there was a bug preventing the game from drawing the upgrade buttons, but this has now been fixed in V0.9.6.9. Cheers for the heads up on this, I might never have noticed in testing as I tend to use default blueprints and cheats for quickness.
