I love this game. Don't let any of those trolls get you down on the negative aspects because if you are a fan of any spy in the history of literature then you will love this. This made me watch Bond, Mission Impossible, 24 and Taken again just for reference. The first playthrough I wanted to get a feel for it so I went with the Mission Impossible route, some jokes, some professionalism, making friends with poeple you come accross for info. Then I played full bond, just a pistol, no armor, stealth, suave and of course if you are a Roger Moore fan, the corny and suggestive jokes. Then I played as Jack Bauer, agressive, confrontational, but knows when to kill and not to kill. Then I played full on Taken and opened up a can of Liam Neeson on my enemies which turned it into less of a spy movie and more into a Rambo like movie where anyone who got in my way or was a potential threat....they were dealt with. So if you are a big fan of either one here is the playstyle to follow.
Ethan Hunt: Mixuture of everything including armor and weapons, little to no suave but plenty of jokes and yet maintain seriousness and mostly stealth
007: You can be as aggressive as Brosnan and Craig or as snarky and funny as Moore, to the cockyness of Connery and if you feel the need to throw in some Dalton gun play go for it. However everyone besides Dalton does not wear any kind of armor so be warned.
Jack Bauer: Again little to no armor but damn aggressive and up front, you basically carves through anyone he wishes yet spares those he has has to. This would be the hard gameplay.
Liam Neeson: This would be the INSANE game style, no armor, just a pistol, wits and of course you eliminate EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE. Which makes everyone mad but hey its Neeson we are talking about here.
Then you have others:
The strong quiet types like Steven Seagal to Rambo and the Commando Arnold (which is a specialization option)
So which ever spy you want to emulate go for it. I prefer Bond and word to the wise, download a track or two from the movies, really sets the RPG mood.
