Game crash caused PC to restart, Save now invalid.

So I assume I'm near the end of the game. I've run out to the launch pad on the moon, and now I'm on the run back, as I entered the blue door the game crashed and caused my PC to restart, upon loading the game up I get an error message saying "The save data is not compatible with this version of the game and will not be loaded."

When trying to load the game anyway, I get an invalid selection. (although this is the same for all the save slots.

Aw man, sorry about that inconvenience. We can take a look and try to recover your save. If you go to this folder and zip up the Headlander folder, you can email it to us at [e-mail].

Got the same problem. Installed 3 times new, deleted all folders manually. Always the same: savegames are not compatible.

Deactivate the Steam-Cloud for Savegames. Then it will work.
