"What Have You Done?" on OS X

Is it possible to get this achievement on the Mac version of Eversion? Currently, the only thing keeping me from getting "What Have You Done?" is the fact that I can't seem to locate the .map files to tweak on OS X (Mavericks). I've gone to Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Eversion, but the only file stored in the "Eversion" folder is a single application file also titled "Eversion". Is this just how the Mac version of the game is, and if so, is there any way to circumvent the issue so that I can get this achievement?

When you "right click" on that file in OS X, you may see something that says "Open package" or "Show contents of package." I'm not on my Mac right now so I can't test this. Anyway, you should be able to view the files that way. Again, this is coming from someone who uses a Mac but hasn't actually played this game on his Mac. I hope this helps!

What does this achievement actually accomplish? I know you have to edit the files and all, but what does that actually do to the game?

I had no trouble finding the files to edit on OS X, and editing area1.map to something like area1a.map does indeed cause the game to crash, but I do not get the achievement. I have tried several times now. I have also tried editing several other files, but this doesn't work either. Anybody got any ideas on what am I doing wrong?

Today I tried again and edited area1.map to area11.map, and that worked for some reason. Editing other files and editing it to area1a.map certaintly didn't work, but that did. All's well that ends well I guess.
