Lambert disappeared...?

In act 3, after a battle which I won, Lambert is just gone. Not on the map at all. If he died, it should've been game over anyways right?

But anyways, I just met the ranger in the forest and was about to attack the elf base. Anyone else experience this? I pretty much have to start over then because my other units get destroyed in battle

try reloading your autosave; you need lambert in the elf base; after destroying it; you go back to the ranger and he will point you to south of the map then after that map is completed.

Yeah I tried reloading but it didn't work because I had already gone past a lot of turns thinking he might reappear. But thanks, I didn't think about how you needed him to continue the storyline. Imagine all that work to level up units and then realizing I still couldn't continue lol
