Legions of the damned
Okay. Is anyone else dissapointed by how demons look in D3? Compare them to how they looked in D2, or my favorite demons were drawn in Disciples Sacred Lands, their portraits. Just wished they would've made them like that. D3 kinda ruined the legions for me...

Yes and no. Some of them changed for the better, some for the worse. The fiend for example looks like some generic ugly demon but it makes sense when you consider that the previous version looks terribly like the already existing Werewolf. I wasn't keen on how they changed the support demons, the tiamat, beast and overlord. The d2 versions of these creatures were something else, the tiamat in d3 looks like he has an ♥♥♥ for a face or something. I don't know lol.

I think the mage tree though is fantastic. and the gargoyles are pretty neat too, although I liked how in d2, can't remember their animation in d1, where they remain as stone statues and come alive to attack, then return to a solid stone form. In d3 you get the impression that they are dragons wearing stone armour or something, but to be fair I'm nitpicking here.

Better or worse. Gameplay will be interesting. Started this campaign just and appears to be quite challenging.

Halway through the Legions campaign and i think they look just good.

Challenging campaign also and most satisfying this far.

Less unfair attacks by the AI but more challenging battles early on and somewhat harder to heal units. Overland magic is less usefull (only use heal and fireball spells mostly. sometimes a resistance spell) and fighting needs to rest on petrifying/transformation spells mostly along with heavy hitter demons.

They don't look good man, they're not even scary. They look childish. Wish they used some Disciples Sacred Lands artwork for the legions. ( the first game of the series)
The artwork and how were they made was just amazing. Scary, detailed, twisted humane like demons. Now the units look ridiculous.

yes the end of the "GAME" is a bit scary and sadic, comanding myzrael to kill his beloved,.. xD sound rare?

As a general rule NO campaign in Disciples ends with a happy ending. In D2 especialy this was really something. First you fight Uther/Asteroth & Friends and 1000 other battles and then an exhausting insanely hard end fight and then... you just die or similar. I think the ending to Undead Hordes was the nastiest of them all. Yet somehow at that point it was to be expected. No rest for poor Mortis.

Sometimes i think the devs of these games are like the Inquisitors. They just burn all heretical thoughts of having a happy ending with fire and proceed to create the most twisted fantasy game there is without turning into a Alice in Wonderland type of weirness.

Hmm The mountain clans campaing in D2 ended nicely with Yata Hari or whatever was her name, defeating that beast that was supposed to bring the Ragnarock though some of the clans were defeated completely, if I recall correctly

And in D3 the dwarves are defeated and just hiding from the world.

But yeah, you got a point. for a Disciples game it was quite an unusual 'happy ending'. :)

Okay I don't know what you are on about here but all of disciples 3 art work and creatures look absaloutly fantatsic! I never played firs game bt I like the creatures better in this one than in the second one. I can't see how they look childish either:P
