Custom Resolution possible?
Playing Tropico on an older laptop that has a 1400x1050 resolution (4:3), does anyone know if it is possible to use a custom resolution?

I don't believe it's possible, no.

Either run it in windowed mode or find something to MAKE it run in windowed mode.

Yeah but that isn't custom.. I was hoping to get a 1400x1050 for my old laptop.

Try running Video from the Hardware... or the software, I can't remember.

i looked into the game folder and config file
and i found it has to have hardcoded resolution in the exe (since in the .cfg file resolution are simply called 00,01,02,03)

if someone has some knowledge of hex editing, trying to find the right offset to patch shouldn't be difficult
