Just want to say thank you - I really love this game, I don't know why but it feels like the D&D version of Darklands - either way its really great and I love it, never finished it too and should probably do a new playthrough soon. wasnt there going to be an expansion at some point? any idea if we can bring parties into the new game thats coming? My only wish would be to bring in more mechanics from Darklands as I really love that game lol....

I heard about the expansion and the new engine online. So my question is, when purchasing Serpent in the Staglands will I also get the expansion A Fool's Banquet or do I need to buy both separately?

Serpent could have been a classic if devs didnt give up on it and maybe advertised a little

So I just started a game as a caster. Maybe I skimmed past it in the manual but it doesn't explain the penalties that armor has. I'm guessing that AS, CS are attack speed and casting speed. So most armor has penalties to both but I'm not sure what Phys DC and Spell DC are. As far as weapons, they seem really limited at the start. The only ranged weapon I seem to be able to find/buy is vials. I did find some arrows but nothing to use them with....

Companions have a base level, with a certain amount of stat/skill points already distributed as listed below. If the player is a higher level when they find them, the companion *will* level up to be the same as the player but all the points they'd receive...
