So I came back to play From Dust one more time, and it is now asking..... no, FORCING ME to use this UPLAY thing that wasn't there when I got the game. Struggled for a while, figured there was an offline mode but needs me to login once, which means I have to create an account for this new service that wasn't there when I purchased. Okay. Read the license. Did you read the license?
"We may be under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation, or in order to identify, question or prosecute an individual in order to enforce or apply these Terms; or to protect our rights, property, or safety and those of other Users and third parties. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction."
Yes. The license allows them to sell your data to credit card companies.
Is this what Ubisoft calls PC Friendly? And you can't complain without accepting those terms, as their tech support is behind the very same account. Ubisoft wants to take a dive like EA apparently. Let them have it. They've lost me as a customer too.
