Is the DRM still an issue?
I refused to buy this game when it was released as it was an always on DRM policy with it. If you disconnected from the internet during playing you would be kicked out of game. Then I think they changed it so you only needed to be online to start the game, which is not good enough for me. I could not find out this for sure now and I will therefore not buy this game even at 75% off. Ubisdoft needs to stop punishing they customers.

Like I said, I could not find out for sure what they're DRM policy is right now. Would be great if anyone who knows could tell us.

Nothing has changed. That abysmal DRM is still the same afaik.
That's why I won't buy this game, even though I'd like to.
Pretty sure all Ubisoft games had the always online DRM removed, someone correct me if you have a source proving otherwise.

@Phrixx889: If you're willing to pay for getting bullied by an inferior DRM System, go ahead and do it. I won't support games with ridiculous DRM that plagues pc gaming.

I would have bought this during the summer sales, but now, a big "meh!". Their DRM lost me as a customer.

Edit: Not to mention the abhorrent difference in price between the regular edition and the deluxe ("skinned") edition. I tend to stay far way from games with massive amounts of DLC's too. Such a pain in the arse.

Did you even read the above post?

Yes. They still have DRM though, and it requires registration. Anyhow, I get sick to my stomach just visinting their store page now. Partly because of their previous, more intrusive DRM, also in part because of its leftovers, and then equally so, because of the reasons listed in my edit.

Yea, this is all I could figure out myself, just wanted to see if the community would know more. I am so sick of the DRM for paying customers. I own GTA IV where you don't need to be online to play.. just to save you'r progress, and no.. it's not okay. And I'm so tired of having to log onto steam, start game, log into Rockstar social club and the start the game and then I have to log into windows live... FFS.. I am not gonna buy GTA V when it realeases if this will be an issue

Thanks, this makes me a very happy man-bunny. Spending more money on games!
So is it removed or not? For instance, HAWX 2 on Steam still have Online-only DRM for single player as for December 24.

So I take it back, I just tried the game, allowing it thru my firewall and it's running smooth. So the DRM has been removed. So everyone have at it.
funny cause they will never remove the protection i never seemed to have a problem but fact is enough people are buying it so they will never remove it i think just selling 100,000 copies is enough so yeh its either buy a good game or miss out seems a lot are missing out by avoiding them even though they will continue to make them :3 hate to wake up people who expect to put them out of buisness by avoiding them.
