I figured it would be convenient to have a single thread in which people can share their creations.

Here's some weapons I made:
- Auto Shotgun
Made after 1.132 patch, which introduced multishot property for weapons. Fast rate of fire, low energy cost, average spread. Using stealth approach is recommended while using this weapon.

- PKP machinegun
High rate of fire, high damage, low spread. Based on a real-life PKP[en.wikipedia.org].

- "Stampede" revolver

Following weapons were added to the core game in 1.130 patch
Download these only if you want to see original versions
- Heavy Rifle
Fast firing, medium damage, low energy cost beam weapon. Has an alt fire mode with very high damage and energy cost, and long cooldown.

- RPG-89
Low rate of fire, low projectile speed, high damage, low energy cost. Has explosive+3 by default. This was intended as a rocket launcher, but primary fire projectiles are not explosive, so use alt fire. Big thanks to phr00t for adding "force_special" option.

- Assault Rifle
Very high rate of fire, very high projectile speed, low damage, no energy cost. Alt fire shoots grenades (grenades still come out of the main barrel, apparently only one projectile memory point is allowed This was fixed in 1.126).

Assault rifle updated with correct offset for alt fire. OP edited (new link to assault rifle). Thank you, phr00t!

Hm, these weapons seem to be a bit too overpowered now after the latest patch. I may have to lower their damage or something.

I have a request for a weapon: Sniper Rifle. I really liked sniping in 3089 and if this weapon was added, I would use it.
Also, I had all three of these installed, and didn't see a single one through the whole game. What's up with that?

How did you install them?
Downloaded them, and dropped the contents of the .zips into the 4089 directory (In steamapps). I dunno, maybe my luck just sucks. :P

It is possible that when you unzipped the archives, it created new separate folders in the main 4089 folder. Make sure that didn't happen, and you have a bunch of files starting with hcat_ prefix in your Items, Models and Textures folders.
Also you can have the worst luck when trying to find specific items. Try starting the new game a bunch of times and see if any of the weapons spawn at the very beginning.
Regarding Sniper rifle, Heavy rifle is a bit like that. But there's no actual scope functionality in the game (yet, at least), so I can't do anything about that. I don't think it is even necessary, to be honest. Rooms are pretty small anyway and it's easy enough to aim.

Just to let you know, I put your first room (slightly modified) into the main distribution of 4089. I haven't checked out your updated second room yet, though...

So, I made some rooms. Only vanilla resources used, but I had to make a bunch of include files. There's probably a better way to do this, but for whatever reason I was having troubles with using [solid] and had to turn them into include files.
These rooms were added to the core game in 1.130 patch. No need to download them!

Woah, these are some awesome rooms! I'd like to get these into the main distribution so everyone automatically has these rooms (and you'd be credited, of course).

How many lights are you using per room? I'd recommend not using more than 3, since I think each room is limited to about 5 lights. If the room has 4+ lights, there won't be "room" for dynamic lights like explosions.

Didn't know about that! Yeah, one room had 7 lights. I've already removed the extra ones (it has 3 now) and edited download links.
Feel free to use these rooms in any way you want.
