Update Log
Version 1.1.3b

- The game now has 5 save slots. Unfortunately old saves have been invalidated as a result of this change.

- There is now a simple pause menu to quit the game.

- Minor visual tweaks.

Version 1.1.3a

- This update adds a bit of extra content at the end so the beta comes to a more decisive close rather than facing the player with an artifiical barrier. It's not a lot of content, but it's a little.

- Removed blue overlay and made many tweaks to graphics and shaders to give the game a more diverse and colorful appearance.

- Save rooms now have proper graphics and sound.

- Death now has a proper animation.

- Map overlay has been improved and now marks save points as you discover them.

- Users can now map their gamepad controls however they like, or revert them to default settings. This will particularly help people who have less common gamepads. The final game will have a better interface for this, but for now it's done from button prompts on the splash screen.

- It is now possible to pause the game.



Version 1.1.2e

- added new visual cue around spike hazards

- general subtle changes to shaders

- fixed a bug with damage numbers not appearing on skinnies


Version 1.1.2d

- attempted to make spike collisions a little bit more charitable, with plans for more changes in the future

- changed the collision area of multijump a bit to try and make platforming feel more natural

- fixed a doorway issue in 36e

- added a subtle light halo around player when underground for the hell of it

- removed the dark flash on player when shooting

- rearranged stepping blocks in 5c to be less annoying

- improved issue where ghosted FX of the player appear when they shouldn't

- corrected issue where power up notifications would overlap

- added audio notification for full ammo


Version 1.1.2c

- Adjust more visual stuff to try and make things easier to read

- Removed scanlines overlay

- Made more changes to door code to try and prevent falling out of the world on room changes

Version 1.1.2b

- Decreased damage values of most enemies, mainly the heavier damage enemies, by a bit

- Further add protection against room transition nonsense

- Escape key now exits to menu.


Version 1.1.2

- slightly increased max possible distance of frontal dash

- The spawning platforms when you enter from below the scene will now vanish after a time whether you are standing on them or not.

- reduced screen fade in time slightly when entering a room

- on entering a room, imposed half second delay before jumping is allowed

- added slight glow from broken door in 10cc, in hopes of making it look more traversable

- allow "enter" to select menu options on keyboard

- taking damage now cancels out of any power up menus

- added a bit more of a visual clue to breakable floor in map fragment room

- thinned adds in spiker encounter

That overlapping is a good fix. If like 2-3 messages overlap it's just disturbing. ^^

Hnnng, every time I see this game update, I cringe in excitement, and go straight to the update log, but no new notable info has been added. XD

I plan to add it as a secret toggle by doing something mysterious in game. easter egg type thing.
