Solo play?
I know this game was made with co-op in mind but how viable is it to play through it solo?

Worth bothering with at all?

u can, however there is 1 part which i found to be difficult in the game solo but i was playing on the tactically wrong character, by the time u get to siege of nordinbad just make sure u selected Farin and have explosive arrows and ur fine.

No, it isn't, I'm playing this game second time alone and still it's very enjoyable.

You won't do some of the quests, and you won't find some of the secrets if you're playing alone. But game is perfectly beatable. You can have some problems with some of the tougher fights depending on which character you play as and which skills you have chosen.

I found the combat to actually be quite epic at times. The more the merrier obviously but it's still fun if you enjoy Lord of the Rings lore.

I enjoyed that game - I managed it solo (it was so boring and difficult). What I don't really like about it is that some places like Nordinbad (idk how it's called) doesn't really exist in Middle Earth (it's made up just for this game). I personally prefer Lord of the Rings Online[my.lotro.com]
