It is one of the only good Lord Of The Rings Games ive actually played and i had loads of fun singleplayer and co-op.
Great combat system and it flows very well.
Good storyline and lots of lore.
Nice to be able to switch characters during missions and then not loose out on levels for that character.
Graphics were godd for a 2011 game.
Very fast loading in no waiting at the load screen for up to 5 minuites. It just loads in almost straight away.
Interesting Characts and the option to play each one.
Good ranged weapon combat flows well.
Love being able to upgrade you're stats and skills.
Loved the fact that you could choose you're own path in the final mission.
I liked it that when you completed the game it went onto the next difficulty and kept all you're skills and upgrades and all of your inventory. So it was like carrying on the games but restarting (if you know what i mean) and it felt nice not to have to loot up more and more.
Voice actng was not that good and they used the same actor for the two sons of Elrond.
Looting. Although you dont have to loot half of the game is spent looting around the maps if you want to be able to have money or good rare items or stones. Looting for me wasnt so bad but it seemed that f you didnt lott you would end up completing the mission with no health pots, coins and other good weapons and armour.
The amount of missions were lacked. I completed this game in 9 hours without trying to speed run. It just felt to rushed (the storyline) and it was ruined at the end. It could have had missions interlinking with what was happening with frodo and his felowship.
I think they also should have put in a skip all option for dialouge scenes.(when you had to choose what you wanted to say)
I am not sure if it was me and my other friend but we experienced major co-op lag. We would only be able to play for an hour before he lagged out and whenever he joined it just lagged him out again.
But All around This game was great! I have always loved Lord Of The Rings games and this is a definite must for fans like me!
